Booking conditions for Uniq Lapland sledding trips
Upon confirmation, you will receive the start time and pick-up information about your reservation. If the indicated pick-up address is incorrect, and you do not notify us of a possible change, we will have to charge the full price of the trip.
Cancellation of a sledding trip
If the booked trip is cancelled, we charge a 10% cancellation fee. If the cancellation takes place 7-21 days before the start of the Safari, 50% of the reservation price will be charged. For cancellations 7 days before the safari, we charge the full payment. In case of possible illness, please contact us and we will arrange a new time.
INCLUDED IN THE PRICE
A private sledding trip in stunning scenery, led by a local guide. The sledding trip is always private and for a maximum of 2 guests. The route is always tailored to the guests' experience and wishes. Our prices include the following equipment. sled overall or two-piece sled outfit, helmet cap, genuine sled shoes, mittens/gloves, helmet, fuel, guide services and VAT.
SAFETY
At the beginning of each trip, we go through safety instructions and driving instructions. The customer undertakes to follow the guide's instructions. If the given instructions are not followed and we have to repeatedly point out faults, the right to drive can be denied. We recommend that each passenger has their own personal travel insurance.
DEDUCTIBLE INSURANCE
The driver of the snowmobile is responsible for damages caused to the vehicle or third parties. The personal deductible is €1,300.
COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS
Valid traffic laws, regulations and good manners apply to our trips. The minimum age for a snowmobile driver is 15 years and the driver must have at least a class T driver's license. T-card holders under the age of 18 can participate in the safari with an adult. Remember to bring your driver's license with you! The police also supervise sledding routes. The driver's license is checked before leaving for the trip. Our safaris have zero tolerance for intoxicants. According to the Road Traffic Act, you may not drive a snowmobile while intoxicated.
CHILDREN ON SAFARIS
A child over 140cm can sit on a snowmobile behind an adult.
WEATHER CONDITIONS
We reserve the right to change or cancel the trip if weather conditions or other factors pose a clear safety risk. The maximum temperature limit is -28°C. In conditions over -20°C, regular breaks will be taken to prevent frostbite.
If the trip is canceled due to the service provider, the full amount paid will be refunded to the customer if the trip cannot be rescheduled to another date.
DAMAGES
In the event of a sled accident or personal injury, the maximum deductible is 1300 euros. If the Off-Road Traffic Act has been violated, the customer is obliged to compensate the damages to the sled in full.
LIMITATIONS ON PARTICIPATION
Snowmobiling is a physical activity, where there can also be bounces on the route. That's why sledding is not recommended for pregnant women or those suffering from e.g. worse back problems.
MARKETING
Uniq Lapland reserves the right to use photos and videos taken on the trips it has taken for marketing purposes. Please mention Safari at the beginning if you do not want your photos/videos to be used. Disagreements are primarily resolved through negotiation. If the disagreements are brought to a court for resolution, the lawsuit must be filed in the district court of the rental company's domicile.
